Info | A recognized leader for a wide range of national and international agricultural and environmental initiatives, Mr. Brubaker is the current and founding Executive Director of US Landcare, a Washington DC based non-profit focused on encouraging community conservation activities; the founder and current Managing Director of the Agricultural Issues Forum, an organization devoted to improving the communication and networking functions of agricultural leaders; as well as Executive Director of the Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania, a producer-led organization. Mr. Brubaker and a small staff perform the functions stated above as well as a few very select special projects annually. The Brubaker Corporation, Inc., a special projects consultancy with expertise in project management. The Brubaker Staff are proven in their ability to work within highly confidential projects.
Mr. Brubaker was the founder, former owner, and President of Brubaker Consulting Group, Inc., which he grew into the fifth-largest agricultural consulting company in the United States.
He is an active member of the Susquehanna River Basin Commission's Agricultural Advisory Committee and a current board member on the Foundation for Environmental Agriculture Education. He is a member of the Philadelphia Society for the Promotion of Agriculture, the Bennett Roundtable, and the Farm Foundation. Mike also serves on the board of The American Agriculturalist Foundation and currently sits on the Alternative Energy Advisory Board to the Governor of Pennsylvania. Mr. Brubaker is a member of the Penn State University Agricultural Advisory Council.
Mr. Brubaker served ten years as an elected official on the Warwick Township Board of Supervisors and has served as chairman of the board of his local church. He is an advisor to the Ephrata Young Farmers Association and serves as Chair of the Ephrata Education Foundation.
He has written hundreds of articles for regional and national publications and has hosted hundreds of daily radio spots featuring successful entrepreneurs and innovations over a four year span.
Mr. Brubaker is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor's degree in agronomy. He is also a graduate of the Pennsylvania Rural Leadership Program as well as the Excellence in Speaking Institute. He is invited to speak frequently on agriculture, environment and global sustainability.
Mike is married with three children.
