Info | Kenneth Paul Zebrowski was elected to the State Assembly in a special election on May 1, 2007 following the untimely passing of his father, Assemblyman Kenneth Peter Zebrowski.
A native of New City and a practicing attorney, Ken Zebrowski graduated from Clarkstown Schools before receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree Magna cum Laude in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany and his Juris Doctor degree from the Seton Hall University School of Law.
In 2005, Zebrowski served in the Rockland County Legislature, where he worked to trim wasteful spending and to reduce the property tax burden on Rockland families. He worked to promote sensible planning as a way to curb overdevelopment, and he introduced legislation to protect consumers from unscrupulous tax preparation services.
Zebrowski is a former board member of the Camp Venture Foundation, Loeb House/Josephs Home, and Rockland County Big Brothers Big Sisters. He has also volunteered as a girls’ softball coach and for events sponsored by Keep Rockland Beautiful.
Professionally, upon his graduation from law school, Zebrowski founded the firm of Zebrowski & Zebrowski with his father. Currently, however, he is “of counsel” to the firm Braunfotel & Frendel in New City, NY.
The 94th Assembly District includes the entire towns of Clarkstown and Haverstraw and portions of the Town of Ramapo, including the villages of Pomona, Wesley Hills, and most of New Hempstead.
