Description | Eddie Basha and his family are defending their store chain against negative claims by the United Food and Commercial Workers Union.
Kim Martinez reports The grocery family says it's all just a "smear campaign."
The Basha family held a news conference at their store at Seventh Street and Missouri Avenue Monday morning.
It was in response to a recent report where the group Hungry for Respect claimed Bashas-owned Food City was stocking and selling expired baby formula for the past couple of months. The group even mailed out flyers, condemning the grocery chain. |
