| Info | Edward Najeeb "Eddie" Basha, Jr.
Chairman of the Board of Bashas' Markets, Inc. He is a former member of the Board of Regents. He also served a thirteen-year term on the Chandler School Board and served on the State Board of Education for two consecutive four-year terms. He serves on numerous business and community boards, including Samaritan Health Services, the Arizona Ecumenical Foundation, Pinnacle West, and ASU's Campaign for Leadership. His past community service activities include serving on the boards of the Arizona Town Hall, United for Arizona, Banner Health Services, and the Fort Apache Heritage Foundation.
In 1994, he was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Arizona.
