It's gonna be a tough, tight race, but Sherrod Brown is still a very slight favorite to win here.
If he'd retired, then it'd be a different story.

Maybe we'll see a split ticket result with Trump winning Ohio and Brown holding on, but it's hard to tell what will actually happen. Trump's running mate is also Ohio's junior senator who could become the new senior senator if Brown loses.

You're right, Mereno Senior senator if Trump wins since Vance will be the VP. The new junior senator would be a appointed by Gov Mike DeWine, a former senator himself.

There is going to be a large amount of Trump / Brown voters. Bank it.
In the unlikely scenario of a Trump national win and Moreno Senate win the question of Senior Senator would come down to timing and how ugly the Lame Duck session is going to be.

Very tempted to flip my prediction back to Brown in light of Trafalgar having him ahead, but the amount of undecideds in a state Trump will win by a healthy margin gives me pause.

The three big clumps of unreported votes are Hamilton, Cuyahoga, and Franklin, so it looks good for Brown in this race.

NBC calls it for Moreno. It was a good run for Brown while it lasted.

FUN FACT: Sherrod Brown Lost because a Bipartisan Group of Legislators passed a law that said deregulated the Crypt Industry, which allowed them to spend $40,000,000 to beat him.
4 of the people who voted for that bill are Democratic Senate Nominees in other states (Kim, Allred, Schiff, and Gallego)

With Brown out, the next top Democrat on the Senate Banking Committee will either be Mark Warner or Elizabeth Warren. Tim Scott will be chairman
