As is tradition: NYPost and DailyMail are digging into her personal life.
They are somehow painting her 40 Year Old marrief Teacher preying on a fresh out of HS her as a her problem...
They were actually painting her as the reason that the now-50 year old's marriage broke up because they began their relationship again in the last few years.
Sux 4 him. His fault not hers. He's the married one
Not taking a stance. Just correcting your mischaracterization
The man still preyed on her fresh outta HS and they're painting her in the negative for it.
Man cheats on wife: its his fault lol

I think that Jessica Cisneros will win this race. She has the backing of Tannya Benavides who got 4% of the vote in the primary, putting Cisneros over 51%

Its a very surprising result given the leaked Roe v Wade decision, the money Cisneros was raising, and her perceived momentum.
But in the end, maybe a majority of the district just likes their Congressman a little more than those who would want to replace him.
And they may have thought Cisneros would lose to a Republican in November

Fair assumption. It's slightly bluer than Kurt Shader's district and voters dumped him. I really wonder what Cisneros has on the voters here haha.

I mean, the map is very regionally polarized. It could just be a regional candidate appeal thing.

Cisneros won every county that got TV from San Antonio and lost every county that got TV from anywhere else. This is similar to the Cuellar/Ciro Rodriguez primaries of 2004/2006.

This still seems like a fail to me for Cisneros. She had the momentum and raised more money since the primary.

It seems difficult but not impossible for the candidate who finished 2nd in the first round to be the one with the momentum. Especially since Cuellar's first round total wasn't as perilous as some incumbents in runoff situations.

Going to recount. But I'm betting Cisneros won't be going to Congress and some other progressive will have to force Cuellar into retirement.

Its basically still unknown at this point.
The fact its this close seems to indicate Jessica has a real shot

Well...at least Cisneros has a better shot than Kandiss Taylor.
