Didp1234: Howie Hawkins will probably end up being the nominee again. Tbh in 2020 he was based!
I'm not sure about that. His nomination was controversial in the Green Party, and led to a few splinter candidacies (Dario Hunter, Jesse Ventura in AK, etc). For better or worse, that may lead some Greens to be more hesitant about supporting him a second time around, for fear of wracking the Green Party further. Also, getting 400k votes after Stein got more than a million in 2016 (and 700k in 2012) may sour people to him in favor of someone who is perceived as a stronger candidate. | |||

-Every candidate minus Howie, Sedinam, and Mesplay were **** -The loudest voice in the crowd (Chad) was the worst and most obvious ****ing snake of the crowd, who just flat out LIED about a ton of the **** going on for his own interests -This got picked up by other small but loud voices online, Which did lead to a party that had high hopes to essentially crash and burn. For 2024 there has essentially been radio silence as nobody really cares about what the GP is doing, So I assume it might be a safe slide for whoever runs. The smartest candidate to run would be Hoh due to notoriety, but even then it will be basically nothing special | |||
