The change map here is probably a concise way to sum up the changes from 2016 to 2022, with parts of South Texas switching from a strong Green Party protest vote to a Libertarian protest vote in 2022 (both candidates with a typically Hispanic surname), Democrats gaining around the major cities, and Republicans gaining everywhere else.
