Hard pass on Kucinich. Horrible 2 year mayor 40+ years ago that couldn't win reelection.. Nothing has changed, not even his ego, in his ability to manage a major American city.

Kucinich saved Clevelanders $195,148,520 by not giving into corporate insterests and keeping Muny Light public.

I realize that is the best you can come up with because most of the rest of his term was a disaster - crime, turning down federal grants to improve the city's mass transit, a feud with the candidate he chose for Police Chief.
The voters are always right. The made the right choice in replacing him. This is just another stop on Kucinich's "what should I do know that I'm retired tour." Its 2021 so run for Mayor of Cleveland. A couple years ago it was Governor and a few more years before that it was President. At this rate his trajectory is towards failed HOA Board Member Canddiate.
He's borderline in "frequent candidate" territory. I suspect the voters will render a similar judgment in this campaign as they have with his other recent campaigns. Soon will be another concession speech for good ole Dennis.

It seems pretty realistic that Kucinich could make the run-off.
At that point, the race takes on a different dynamic, driven by whom he's in a run-off against.

In the only poll that has been done Kucinich winning the primary 17.8% to Basheer's 13.3%

What happened Mr. Kucinich?

Too be fair number wise, it is alright for him but from a first glance it seems that simply it's just past his time.
Kelley was basically the average choice and Bibb was more active with progressives in the state.
