I was just reading an article that GA Dems were getting restless that Abrams hadn't committed to the race. Looks like she gave them a small reason to sleep easier tonight.

Abrams should have ran against Perdue in 2020. A much more favorable environment and a 6-year term. What happens to her national prospects if she (likely) loses the governors race?

She could have won in 2018 if she had focused on being governor in 2018 and not president in 2028.

I doubt her national prospects go anywhere, she'd still be lead candidate in 2026, especially if it's another very narrow margin. I think she would've been a great senator, but believe she genuinely didn't want to go that route.
