The result of this looming race ought to be a blowout event for Law and Justice (PiS) and president Andrzej Duda. Duda's popularity is still too lofty to even glimpse [Link] (it averaged 70% for while) and in the latest poll, he towers 20+ points ahead of his nearest rival [Link]
Will he be forced into a run-off? Probably. He'll likely face a one-on-one with Civic Platform placeholder Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska (sittin' in for a reluctant Donald Tusk; though, it's amazing to see how far TV personality Szymon Hołownia has strode up the Mount Othrys pathway).
Duda ought to wipe the podłoga with her in that contest.
And PiS does far better in the end than political analysts (and PiS decriers) predict.
So, it looks like most of Poland will be taking another PiS together (sorry, couldn't resist the pun).
