Allowing for the gratuitous scatter of Gravis Poll results, an evenly matched Buehler/Brown race is definitely not what anyone expected.

One poll, but it sure is eye opening.

Buehler was the most electable Republican to come out of the Republican Primary - dare I say more moderate than the typical populist Republicans coming out of most primaries. And Republicans always seem to get a reliable 40 - 45% of the vote.

Gravis has Brown at a -2 on her approvals.

Just realized that Brown and Buehler ran against each other 5 years ago or SoS

Brown has been in a fairly weak position since her appointment and it's possible the long D streak in OR could be broken, but I wouldn't count on it from a single Gravis poll. Let's see what another poll says.

yet another poll showing trouble ahead for Brown [Link] . It's Buehler by a nose this time.

Why is Brown struggling in the polls? The economy is booming and Trump is deeply unpopular in Oregon.

Not ready to flip to Buehler, but I like him. Hope he does win. This could be one of a few bright spots for Repubicans this year.

(Visualize your own post-election day Trump tweet on a Buehler victory)

Somehow I don't think Oregon is going to flip in a Trump midterm.

Clout's lean did put Brown ahead of Buehler in the average. Results like having Brown up 1% in July 2016 in an election she won by 7% probably didn't help their adjustments much

Seeing the recent polling with Brown struggling tells me there is Dem Fatigue of the OR Dems controlling Mahonia Hall (Residence of the Governor) after 32 years.

This is going to be one of the most hotly contested Gubernatorial elections in the history of the Beaver State.
