Uploaded Scotland's council areas. I hope I got as many islands as possible into the map, but if someone finds a way to shrink the file size of some areas like Highland and Argyll & Bute, feel free!
I think Bute was included in the North Ayrshire map on gadm.org if I am not mistaken. The borders look to have been smoothed out as well.

The Tolerance/Reduce Polys function will reduce the polygon count and thus the size. It also keeps the original polygon on file so you can play with it without worrying about losing any information. Higher numbers reduce the size more. (One thing is you don't want to hit return to submit run the function, you actually have to click the Reduce Polys button)
