Random question- there's a couple of counties here with zero votes, thought it was a error on the site data, but even checking the official results, [Link] those counties have zeros. Even the other races from the same day have zeros across the board. Was it a case of no one actually voting in these counties or was there an issue between the counties and the state? Cottle County for example did have numbers in the D primary that year but it's definitely a strong R county in general elections.

until recently, if a Texas state party didn't have a chair or organization in a county, they didn't hold a primary there.
