meanwhile the Republican is a doughnut shop owner whose Google results are mostly about the time he put up a sign blaming the surge in COVID infections on Mexicans (he changed the sign to blame the surge on "open borders")
then I searched on here and found that Breitenbach was already on the site because he ran for the State House in Kansas in 1992
also, his 1992 candidacy in a spreadsheet of female candidates from the Center For American Women and Politics, which I guess makes me feel better for seeing the name "Marjain" and guessing the gender wrong, both times.
