This is a win for Senate Seniority. Its happened before that people have been bypassed in Leadership. This vote affirms that even with MAGA, the Senate Republicans respect Seniority.

Happy that it's John Thune. Won't be the best but hearing he won't remove the filibuster is going to stall the worst of Trump's agenda.
