Chris Stewart endorsed Maloy a while ago, should probably be added here. [Link]

It's on the convention page

Is Becky Edwards a "moderate" Republican? Didn't she challenge Mike Lee on the left?

“Moderate” is an understatement. Edwards is a liberal. She openly supported Biden, wants to expand federal LGBT protections against religious organizations, and stated that she wanted Republicans to compromise on their principles and work more with Chuck Schumer.

I guess that's why I'm so surprised she is leading that Dan Jones poll. And by a wide margin. Voting by mail apparently has started.

It's all about name recognition. She ran against Mike Lee last year, garnering I believe 30% of the vote. So that's obviously helping her here, considering she's running against basically nobodies. Looks like she's about to become the most liberal Republican in the House unless something changes fast.

48% undecided is not a great predictor.

Probably one of the few Republicans I'd support.

Mitt Romney must be watching this race closely.

Utah is a weird state. Its the reddest state where Republicans are not blind fans of Trump. I think many Republicans here don't like him and actively support other Republicans and alternatives like McMullen. Others don't like him but hold there nose and vote for him. And probably a large number of Republicans are in step with other Republicans nationwide who are big fans of him or actively support him since he's the titular head of the Republican Party.

I could be wrong, but this seems to be a Mormon thing - incompatible with the tenants of the faith to be gaga over Trump.

If Edwards wins this safe red seat could be at risk. I think a lot of Republicans are going to stay home for the General.

I doubt it. If anything, she'll have appeal on both sides. Might have a better winning percentage than Stewart.

Malloy is edging ahead of Edwards.

I agree. This is like Phil Scott, Charlie Baker, or Larry Hogan, losing because lot of Republicans will stay home.

All hail Juab County. 26 votes for each candidate.

Is there anything left to count? NYT is at 80%

Supposedly we will get another rural drop by end of day today that will grow Maloy's lead. SLC says they will not be providing an update today where Edwards is strong.

No it's not. She will be a GREAT Congresswoman.

Edwards was my only interest in this race. Would have liked to see a moderate win.
