The poll results originally posted showing a 41%-41% tie are AFTER positive messaging for Samuels and not a valid poll here. It has been corrected to the pre-push-polling initial results and the full memo PDF has been entered.
I doubt it here. Bowman and Bush went down but here I think is different. A lot of this district voted uncommitted in the Dem Primary and Samuels has a lot of negative baggage around him...
Like I'm even planning on sitting out this one because of the baggage on Samuels and I'm normally on board with unseating a progressive. I'll gladly let Omar have this seat for 2 more years in exchange for (hopefully) a better establishment Democrat unseating her.
I wonder if her results are cause it's an election year primary. Samuels vote total isn't much different than in '22 but Omar's was over 10,000 higher.
We still made overall progress by kicking out Bowman and Bush. Omar holding on was to be expected in my opinion. I just hope Samuels doesn't go for Round 3....
