Surprised there hasn't been more buzz about this open seat. Seems very competitive. Any insights from the California crowd?
Liccardo, Dixon, Simitian, and Low have all raised $800K or more. I guess they would be considered front runners.
Lythcott-Haims, Mostofa, Bernstein, and Kumar would be the next tier with COH of around $100k - 300K. Maybe Lythcott-Haims should be considered a front-runner given her endorsements?
Tanaka and the Republicans are in the lowest tier not raising much money at all.

Presumably, this will be a run-off between Liccardo and Simitian. At one time, I would've been all over this race. It's kinda weird to see such a big development from my old hometown, and to be so alienated from it. But yeah, Liccardo and Simitian seem likely.
I'd say former Campbell Mayor Evan Low may have the inside track for 3rd place. Or maybe one of the Republicans will finish third?

As an aside, I attended a candidate's forum in 1988, when Anna Eshoo won the Democratic primary against Jim Garrison (the candidate whom I was then knocking on doors for), and was permitted to ask her a hostile question. It seems I had to move half way across the country, and still wait more than a decade, for that seat to finally come vacant again.

All I know is putting in all these endorsements was horrifying. Like at least half of Rishi Kumar's endorsement page is random tech CEO dudes he knows.

Removed Low's checkmark because Simitian has narrowly overtaken him for second place again per NYT. I wouldn't recommend giving anybody but Liccardo the checkmark until all votes are in. This is extremely close.

Last congressional race in the California primary (almost three weeks ago) to be unresolved. Presumably this race will go to a recount.
