Any reason to think Bost will pull up the upset here?

Money and polls seem tight.

Are you saying Bost would be the upset winner??

Nice catch. My error. No I would expect Bost to be the favorite with Bailey possibly pulling off the upset.

This one is going to live up to expectation. According to NY Times mostly Bailey counties remain uncounted.

I was expecting Bailey to do well just because he was the last Republican to run for Governor in the state.

Quite the geographical split.

Final county in--close but no cigar for Bailey...

So I haven't been following this one at all. What did Bost do that he nearly lost his primary?

His son was caught wearing a mask during the pandemic

To repond to your Q, Bost was a staunch McCarthy supporter during the speaker turmoil, and even though Bost was endorsed by Trump, Bailey ran a well funded campaign hammering down the argument that Bost is "not MAGA enough" and that he didnt deserve the endorsement of DJT. If Trump had endorsed Bailey, this would certainly have gone the other way and IMO by at least 10 poiints.

you can really see Bost's pre-2022 district in that map
