On a very trivial note, I wonder if two neighbouring countries have ever had leaders with the same last names before (aside from the incestuousness of European monarchy, that is)...

Interesting note, Zeus. From an English language perspective, the names appear identical. In the Hungarian and Romanian phonologies, the "á" in Viktor Orbán versus the "a" in Ludovic Orban sound alike ("á" or "a" as in "father"), with just a slight variation in intonation or emphasis.
