He's destroying himself with this. I hope that he can recover before November 2016 and save this seat for our party.

Even with all of this stuff, he still has the best chance of any GOP candidate. Still though, he's not going to win in November. He barely won in the GOP wave of 2010, no way he wins in a presidential election year.

I think before these stunts he had a decent shot (maybe 40% chance) of winning, but I don't know what he was thinking with these. There's no real likelihood of a successful primary challenge from the right, and even some moderate-conservatives I know have been turned off by this. And Duckworth is almost a perfect candidate to interest these groups. His chance of winning dropped greatly.
