Anyone interested in importing the 2008/2012 results while also making the 2016 races? I would but I have very little time.

Having trouble creating zoom areas for the new maps I just uploaded. If anyone can create them, one for Darwin and one for Alice Springs would be appreciated.

Does anyone know how to extract maps from an existing map? Would appreciate any advice; I have added the races. [Link]

It often isn't possible, unfortunately.

I haven't had any luck finding a direct way to download any sort of shape file (whether .shp or .kml) from Google Maps or ArcGIS sites. What I've been doing is just compiling multiple screenshots of the map (zooming in to get a little bit of resolution), then georeferencing it in QGIS and tracing the lines (also using road or municipality files at least for US maps to help).

Which I'm in awe of. I could never find the time to do that.
