Remain sovereign and independent but having to deal with increased Russian nationalist militia activity and expanded frozen conflicts within its de jure borders

This has been a FASCINATING 72 hours. Ukraine telegraphed the Kherson offensive, Russia had to pour their resources into Kherson, Ukraine traps Russia across the river. Meanwhile, Ukraine pokes around in Kharkiv, finds weak spots, and is just going full blast.

Running thread. Kupyansk and Izyum have fallen out of Russian control and back to the Ukrainians. All eyes on Kherson.

Also reports of the Ukrainian army on the outskirts of Lysychansk in Luhansk Oblast as well as attacking the Donetsk Airport.

Russia has apparently abandoned all of Kharkiv Oblast. The question now is if Ukraine can advance as fast as Russia is retreating.

Was going to add the district-level maps, but the file seems too big for a free file conversion. Will keep looking. [Link]

The Fixer: I guess Ukraine is not corrupt at all...
Every nation has its corruption. This is a drop in the bucket compared to what was embezzled during the Iraq War. Or in the COVID business relief program.

I mean the link says that the five people were arrested and the full amount was recovered so it sounds like their anti-corruption controls are working pretty well?

What a shift in tone on this site in just a few months. First, Ukraine is not corrupt to now saying Ukraine has corruption. Ukraine is more corrupt than Belarus, Cuba, and other adversaries of USA.

Biden's decision to greenlight Ukrainian missiles into Russia is only raising the possibility for WW3 before Trump takes office.
I'm no fan of Putin, I believe he's a monster, but the best chances at preventing WW3 is for the U.S to give the Russians most of what they want with regard to Ukraine. The Russians, the Chinese and the Iranians are crystal clear that play time is over.

Thankfully we prevented World War II by appeasing Hitler. We should definitely use the same approach to prevent World War III.

After WW2, the German Nazis were no more, but the Ukrainian Nazis were given a pass.

That's funny, you claim I am antisemetic for simply being critical of Israel, and yet the film you linked features Oliver Stone who literally accused "The Jewish domination of the media" for stifling a debate about the Holocaust..........
That's going to be a big ol' YIKES
