Kentucky legislative races (general & primaries to date) have been created. Filing deadline is tomorrow, so candidates will be entered in a bit.

The uncontested primaries won't actually have vote totals, so those candidates could pretty easily get put in the general election race (and the races for uncontested primaries recycled for something else). Just to save some time.
The calendar has 6 states closing filing between last Saturday (West Virginia, which will have candidates show up for a few days this week post-deadline) and next Friday (Alabama/Indiana), followed by no deadlines until February 27th. So, some opportunities will exist for recycling.

There are only 13 uncontested House races, with six Republicans running unchallenged and seven Democrats. The most notable of those candidates is former House Speaker Jeff Hoover, R-Jamestown, who resigned from his role as speaker following a secret sexual harassment settlement with a legislative staffer. He and three other GOP House members are the subject of an ongoing investigation by the Legislative Ethics Commission.

yeah, Hoover being totally uncontested was a bit of a surprise considering those events.
The 51st thru 100th district House races are in, and fortunately there were enough various Lexington/Louisville local races to recycle a portion of the uncontested primaries so far.

also a big thank you to the people of South Australia, whose election on March 17th helped recycle a bunch of uncontested Kentucky primaries.

Hey, Kentucky results going back to 1955 are now on their site (they've had results since 1973 for a long time)..
But more results, awesome!

it feels like it would be easier to draw KY01 and KY02 if KY02 gave up Owensboro

RBH: the new maps (Congress, State Senate, State House, and the first new State Supreme Court map since the 90s) are all entered
So great. I'm going to be doing endorsement research over the next few days, so I should be able to upload a good number of primary candidates. Has the SoS certified the filings yet?

The contested primaries are up on here, the one thing that could change things aside from the natural process of candidates withdrawing is that some of the candidates filed before the new districts became official, and they're not in the right districts.
Some of those candidates might end up withdrawing or getting removed.
Kentucky just requires a filing fee ($500 for Congress and $200 for State Senate/House) so the filings stick up a little better than states that require petitions
