Heidemann withdrew after domestic abuse allegations surfaced. Ricketts replaced him with State Auditor Mike Foley. The NE Sec. of State allowed Foley's name to be printed on the ballot even though the deadline had passed. So, Foley should be elected Lt. Gov. in the 2014 race.
