In the words of a Marx Loving Professor I once had “if a politician tells the working class to disarm themselves, you should punch them in the face.”

And that is relevant to the current discussion how?

Same way I guess stating that adding seat belts reduced deaths in cars is "disagree."
(or is it in relation to the second half: the answer to the question "What is the GOP's plan to address gun deaths?" is just "No")

The car deaths thing is also a false dilemma/false dichotomy. There's no reason you can't work on improving both simultaneously.

If true, its an indefensible act.
Someone didn't get the help that they needed because resources had to respond to his selfishness.

He "thought" it was a door opener. He literally was at the front of door and a door opener is gray not red.

The Fixer: Some "far-right" should do it and we will see your hypocrisy.
We have 147 members of Congress who literally tried to overthrow a Democratic Election who remain seated to this day.....
The Hypocrisy is all on you

Again with the "Your party" BS. ALSO no "they" didn't. Where were you on January 6th of 2021?
The Fixer: You voted for one in 2016.
When I was 2 years under the voting age?
The Fixer: And mark my words you'll party will be doing again when Republicans win again!

Its actually House leadership that's calling for his expulsion.
And he'll be treated the same way he expected his students to be treated when he was a Principal.
Seems fair.

Apparently the situation makes more sense when this is the door he was trying to exit

Why on earth would a rational person go through a door marked "EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY." This is evidence he should have followed the instructions and gone through another exit.
There is nothing confusing about this except Bowman's excuses.
Pulling a fire-alarm to go out a door clearly marked emergency exit only is just a crazy excuse.
And if he accidentally pulled the fire alarm - why not call the police to alert them of this mistake?
D- on Bowman for his cover-up effort.

Look I'm just saying:
-147 members of Congress aided and abetted a potential coup are in office with no repercussions
-a Senator was literally caught aiding a foreign dictator in exchange for Gold Bars
-a member of congress sex trafficked a minor.
Guy accidentally pulling a fire alarm is the LEAST of the problems in congress rn

Yes, we should expel the entire US Congress. Get the idea?

I, personally, don't believe it was an "accident". And I think limited punishment for it is appropriate. Quite the false equivalence to suggest it's the same as Jan 6th though.
On another hypocrisy note: Democrats asked for a mere 90 minutes to read the bill before voting on it and McCarthy denied any time before the vote. With the huge stink Republicans made in the past with bills that were given 18 hours to be reviewed, what's the justification there?

If a non-member tripped the alarm, what would the penalty be? Why don't we start from there?

My Congressman is a Weiner: If a non-member tripped the alarm, what would the penalty be? Why don't we start from there?
If a visitor to Congress "accidentally" pulled a fire alarm in a Congressional building trying to exit an emergency exit and didn't immediately notify authorities of the "mistake"- it would be a misdemeanor by DC law, the visitor would be arrested, and have to appear in court.
