Amazing how he is off the hooks for paying $1M in an effort to conceal facts that would harm his presidential campaign.

Democrats are always off the hook.

"Mr. Edwards is alleged to have accepted more than $900,000 in an effort to conceal from the public facts that he believed would harm his candidacy," Assistant Attorney General Breuer said in a Department of Justice statement regarding the indictment.

I know you are posting all this stuff because you are trying defend the same bad behavior by former President Trump. I'm okay with the same thing happening to Trump as happened to Edwards.

Democrats voted him out of the primary and he was never elected to anything again. Democrats didn't defend his sleezeball behavior.

I fear this will set a dangerous precedence in the future. Imagine a new Republican administration tries to prosecute Biden in the future for other stuff.

The administration isn't prosecuting Trump on this current matter. The federal goverment isn't either. It's a NY state case.

I don't why but it feels weird that Edwards is in his 70s now. I think it's because, even though they were only a few years apart, Edwards seemed so much younger than Kerry and that was the image that stuck with him.

It's crazy that same amount of time has passed from Kerry-Edwards to now as there was from Mondale-Ferraro to Kerry-Edwards.

That went quick.
