If Trump wins a second term this might actually happen. Some of the conservative justices on the court are aging and they could be timing their retirement for when a conservative president gets elected, so that way the conservative president (Trump) can make the replacement, thus preserving the Court's conservative majority.
His choice of make-up or whatever else for his RNC talk was just weird. I'm somewhat puzzled that someone who spends a large amount of his time telling others what it means to be a real man, has gotten a lot of permanent and temporary cosmetic enhancements.
Especially since Gaetz doesn't have that bad of a complexion naturally and doesn't really need makeup (I know it's pretty standard for candidates on TV in general, but really..)
I have an alternate view. I think he will be confirmed because I think there will be INTENSE pressure for all Senate Republicans to NOT oppose Trump this early in his new Presidential term.
