Description

Ater Robert Auth challenged Holly Schepisi in a convention for a vacant State Senate seat, she endorsed his opponents in the Assembly primary. Auth and his runningmate, newly minted Assemblywoman DeAnne DeFuccio, won by a strong margin.

Democrats recuited Demarest Mayor Melinda Iannuzzi and Karlito Aleda to take on the incumbents.

Now it is up to Auth and DeFuccio to make amends with Schepisi to keep this increasingly competitive district in republican hands.
