| Description | In my research, I indicated that this election was held on 8/10/1798. Dubin dates it to 8/16/1798. I have not had an opportunity to verify which date is correct.
The Philadelphia newspaper Carey's United States' Recorder stated on 8/11/1798 that the election was scheduled for 8/9/1798. |
