| Description | Centrist party founded by eight MPs including the Solomon Islands four-term Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare Manasseh Sogavare. Sogavare had opted to break away from the a party he had also created called the Solomon Islands Social Credit Party ("Socreds") after he was defeated in a parliamentary vote of no-confidence on December 13, 2007. Sogaware revived the OUR party in 2019 and was once again elected Prime Minister on April 24, 2019. Party is identified with China and aligns itself with its interests on the Islands. Party holds no seats in Parliament [aka, OUR Party]. |
