| Description | Basque-Spanish association turned political party launched in opposition to ETA terrorism. Party had merged in May 2007 with the Plataforma Pro to form the Progress and Democracy Union (UPyD), jointly led by MEP Maite Pagazaurtundua and Basque Country's Maria San Gil. Party was thought to have dissolved itself but had re-emerged in 2018 to battle independence-minded 'Catalan sovereignists' and "restore the constitutional order and the rules of democracy" in Catalonia [Enough Already!]. |
