Description | The plan calls for State Treasurer Nancy Farmer to run for the Senate, and for Kelvin Simmons, an AA PSC to run in her place. This would boost black turnout and give Democrats a credible candidate. They're also hoping that Dick Gephardt wins the nomination for President, as that would boost turnout in St. Louis.
Note: Farmer is leaning more towards running than she was two weeks ago. Emily's List would be right there to help if she ran. |
