InfoScott Biggs grew up on his family’s farm where he learned early the value of hard work and determination. The son of a teacher and a police officer, public service came naturally to Scott. His father and grandfather, both veterans, instilled the value of freedom and American pride to him early in his childhood. Most of all Scott was raised as a devoted Christian. As a student he was extremely active in 4-H and FFA earning both his State and American FFA Degrees. As a 4-H member, he focused on livestock showing and judging leading his horse judging team to a win at a national event. After high school graduation, Scott chose to leave Indiana and attend Oklahoma State University. At OSU, Scott majored in Agricultural Economics and was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and the Reserve National Champion Horse Judging Team. While in school, Scott met his wife Rosslyn Spencer and they were married in 2002.

Following graduation, Scott worked for Rural Enterprises, Inc (REI) as a small business advocate and was instrumental in obtaining millions of dollars of financing for rural Oklahoma businesses. For his efforts he was named the 2003 Northwest Oklahoma Financial Services Advocate of the Year. During his time at REI, Scott learned the struggles of small business owners as well as the positive impact these businesses have on job creation in their communities. Scott served REI until Rosslyn graduated from OSU College of Veterinary Medicine.

In 2004, the couple moved to Rosslyn’s hometown of Chickasha. At that time, Scott began law school at the University of Oklahoma graduating in 2006. While in law school Scott served as a legal intern for the Grady County District Attorney’s office and later served as a prosecutor until January 2012 when he opened his own law practice. Scott firmly believes in upholding the United States Constitution and the Second Amendment.

Family has always been a priority for Scott. He and Rosslyn were blessed with their daughter Maguire in 2010 and their lives revolve around her. They attend Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Chickasha. Scott is committed to providing a bright future for his community and family. Scott is pro-life and believes in traditional marriage. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting and fishing.

Agriculture has always been a significant part of Scott’s life. Scott and Rosslyn maintain an equine operation on their farm outside of Chickasha marketing their stock across the nation as well as the management of family farms in the Verden area where they raise wheat and alfalfa. He understands the struggles of farmers and ranchers and is committed to fighting for agriculture and our rural way of life.

Scott is a staunch conservative. He is concerned about the direction our nation is headed with bigger and bigger government that continues to reach into every facet of our lives. He firmly believes in limiting the size of government and lowering burdensome taxes. Scott will fight to strengthen out schools and work to improve infrastructure, two of the basic roles of government.
