| Info | PHIL SCOTT of Montpelier, Washington County, Republican, was born in Barre, Vermont, on August 4, 1958. He graduated from Spaulding High School, Barre, Vermont, in 1976 and the University of Vermont in 1980, majoring in Industrial Education. He is married to the former Angie Wright of Northfield and has 2 daughters, Erica and Rachael who reside in Lake Elmore. Phil is a co-owner of Dubois Construction of Middlesex. He has been very active in the Associated General Contractors for a number of years serving as president in 1997 and 1998. He is also a corporator at the Northfield Savings Bank. Phil is a well known stock car racer, winning numerous races and titles throughout New England.
