Does this qualify for a non-endorsement of Robinson by Folwell?

Seems pretty borderline to me. Might be more like I"m not endorsing him.

Yeah a non-endorsement implies that he is ok with other candidates winning.

IDK if this is enough for that

Interesting SurveyUSA poll. It could get ugly - I guess.

I was surprised when he won the primary then the gen election for LT. Gov. Maybe people in NC are finally catching up with him?

Stein's been doing the greatest campaign strategy ever.....LETTING MARK ROBINSON TALK

Like everyone in NC has bombarded by ads of Mark Robinsons insane ramblings, Stein's barely had to make stuff about himself

I'm hoping these polls are accurate and it's a blowout for Stein similar to PA Gov 2022. But I'm not exactly holding my breath here. I still think it'll be close but Stein will come out on top.

But according to Louis Money, who worked in several of Greensboro’s windowless, 24-hour video-pornography stores, Robinson was a frequent customer in the 1990s and early 2000s. Money, 52, told The Assembly that Robinson came in as often as five nights a week to watch porn videos in a private booth.

Five other men who said they were former employees or customers during this period also told The Assembly that Robinson visited two of these stores: Gents Video & News and I-40 Video & News. [Link]

Rush to judgment. Maybe he was interested in the "news" and not the "videos". He seems like a guy that is interested in keeping up on current events.

Not to get too overconfident.

But the only way Robinson could be MORE COOKED is if Roy was running

I suspect Mike Ross will see a good result for a Libertarian in NC.

Changed my prediction from Slight Stein to Lean Stein.

Will Stein's good performance (if he ultimately does end up having a good performance, which I think he will) here help Harris and other Democrats who are down-ballot?

I upped my as well to lean the other day. All the recent elections have been so close...Roy won with just a over 51% for re-election. IF Stein wins with more or even over 52% that will be a tremendous result.

It's not that improbable in my opinion, here in Pennsylvania Shapiro won by double-digits against Mastriano, and PA 2022 and NC 2024 have a lot of similarities.

Shapiro = Stein and Mastriano = Robinson

Then again, North Carolina is more right-wing than Pennsylvania is, and on top of that Trump is on the ballot this year, so it won't be double-digits but I think it will be a good 4-6 point Stein win, if, of course, all of the dynamics stay the same from now until November.

Certainly looking that way now. Curious if we will start to notice a poll drift from Robinson to Ross.

Yeah, I imagine there is a significant group of Republicans who can't stomach Robinson getting elected but also aren't huge fans of Stein, either. These guys are a good group for Ross to appeal too. Ross will probably end up getting 3-4% of the vote, which is still pretty high for a libertarian.

I wonder what the outcome of elections would be if there was no television and radio advertising whatsoever. People get their political news from the internet nowadays.

Supposedly there's a REALLY bad article about to come out about Robinson (more than what we already know, geez!) and the NC GOP is scrambling to ry and replace him here.

The deadline to remove Robinson’s name from the ballot already has passed. [Link]

I'm sure the GOP NC Supreme Court will override this.
