I am proud of him for dropping out. He has accomplished a lot in his decades-long career and I didn't think he would drop out. I am an Independent who leans right politically but I don't think someone like Donald Trump, who is charged and convicted on a lot of felonies and says all the stuff he says should be in the White House. I get that presidential elections aren't personality contests but by being president you are also a role model to the American people. And someone who's in a role model does not do all the things that Trump did. So I will be gladly rooting for whoever the Democratic nominee is in November (probably Harris).

Hikikomori Blitzkrieg!: How can this picture be real?
Just saying "wide angle lens", doesn't seem adequate to explain such a weirdly skewed-looking image.

Old people shrink.

All jokes aside. Marriage of 74 years to one person is....well impressive.

Regardless of your faith, your persuasion - to make a commitment to another person and continue that love them through up times and down times for 74 years is inspirational.

While he had the benefit of status, position, and wealth - that is not always the benefit we perceive it to be outside the monarchy as we can see from the lives of most his children.

Not a perfect person, but none of us are.

I do believe there is a heaven, and that ultimately we are judged by the good we do and our forgiven for our shortcomings (as Christ our savior died for all those shortcomings on the cross - what a perfect plan). For all the good he did, heaven is rejoicing for his arrival and the mortal world is mourning for our loss.

RIP to a tremendous human being. Another one from the "greatest generation" who is no longer with us, but whose legacy and bravery we will recall and will motivate us.

RP went nouveau, I'll go classical cabinet photo.

Heres to America! We keep going, regardless of party, regardless of personality. Up times, down times. Its about set of values we all strive for even if don't always to see eye to eye. Lets all reach for the ideals that our forefathers sought for in the potential of a simple but great country that started with Washington and a small group of talented, committed patriots.

I'd read somewhere that the new position sits as a principal on the NSC, a position I understand to be "cabinet-level" on its own and is shared with several cabinet secretaries and other cabinet-level advisors, hence the lack of clarity. But not "cabinet-ranked" in any official sense, to the extent there's a clear distinction to be made.

I didn’t have a horse in this race, but super happy Donalds won. That disgusting, fraudulent text sent to all district 19 residents falsely claiming he dropped out today made me feel so sorry for him. I’m glad he seems to have pulled it off anyways and I hope whoever’s campaign was behind that is held accountable.

Rest in peace to a hero in and icon. His life is in important reminder that you are never too young to get involved in social justices causes and fight for what you believe in, as well as the fact that fighting injustice is a lifelong struggle that is never "finished."

For the GOP, I'd add Donald Trump (assuming he loses in 2020), Ivanka Trump, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Jeb Bush, Jeff Flake, Ben Sasse, Mitt Romney, Dan Crenshaw, Chris Christie, Charlie Baker, Greg Abbott, Tim Scott, and Mike DeWine.

Yes. Its too late.

This race might tighten because Hickenlooper is proving to be not a great candidate. But the numbers aren't there for Gardner while Trump is in office.

Hickenlooper will win. 51 - 45.
