Pretty good development for the CO GOP if they want their odds of winning a statewide (or even a competitive race in a competitive district) race to not be zero. Still very slim, but not zero.

BrentinCO: Removed from office by a vote of 161.66-12 this past weekend.

How did they get 161.66 votes to unseat him?

The CO GOP rules have had this very complicated system of partial votes. Its meant to balance the votes between rural and urban counties. It would appear they used the same system to vote Williams out as they did to vote him in.
