| Description |
At issue going into treasurer nominations was that the preferred candidate of the Mises Caucus was ruled ineligible due to not having been a member for a sufficient amount of time. During nominations, no other candidates were prepared to seek the position, until Sarwark accepted nomination as somebody with the necessary qualifications and purportedly at his wife's urging.
Due to Mises-friendly delegates having a majority at the convention, and given a chance to deny their chief intraparty adversary the office, NOTA came away with the most votes. After moving on to At-Large rep nominations, rules were suspended in order to make their intended candidate eligible to hold the position, and won a revote.
