| Description |
Vice Chair Moellman became acting chair upon the resignation of JBH. There is some dispute over the procedure on a permanent successor, because bylaws state that the LNC will appoint a new chairperson and Robert's Rules state the vice chair fills the position. Bylaws are stated to hold precedence over Robert's, however, and the LNC is holding several meetings where it is likely to take up nominating and appointing a new chairperson.
Candidates listed have been speculated online, but none have formally been nominated. Moellman has publicly hesitated seeking the chairmanship since ascending to acting chair.
Vote held by ranked choice and results will be announced noon Mountain Time the following day.
