Constables do not receive a salary, they are paid by fees, but in Alabama a Constable is in effect its own law enforcement agency, so in many of the rural counties, a Constable writes you a speeding ticket, they themselves are the law enforcement agency, so you are paying the ticket to the Constable rather than the Sheriff or a local police department

Because I (the submitter) lived in the precinct, I know the vote listed as AJ Nilard is actually AJ Niland, who I went to HS with, clearly wrote himself in.
When initially put up on June 22, 2021 I will only do individual tallies for candidates above 4 votes, in intended votes, but I will overtime update this result to give each person a county as in fact, this was what decided the race, it is a constitutional office in Alabama, I think it deserves to be recorded
