Description On October 24, Kyrgyzstan's CEC under pressure from acting president Sadyr Japarov, chose January 10, 2021 for snap presidential elections.

Candidates (of which there were 63 hopefuls) had until December 3, 2020 at 11:59 pm (Kyrgyzstan time) to file their applications and pay the application fee [Link]

On December 4, 2020, the Central Committee on Elections announced that they approved 20 presidential candidates [Link] out of which two were struck out 8 days later for not having authentic signatures.
