DailyKos reported today that he is still weighing an entry into this race. Their reporting also says that Haslam will decide in the next 2-3 weeks.

Is it possible to be represented in the U.S. Senate by a worse combination than Blackburn and Green? Not if you are conservative. Would rival the Hawley / Blunt Missouri combo as best conservative tag-team if its realized.

To whom this may concern: I am a new user to Our Campaigns, so I have a question for the more experienced users of the site. I was looking on this page for the predictions on the Tennessee Senate race, and I see that former Gov. Bill Haslam has been listed as having a chance for winning the race. I live in Tennessee and know for a fact that Haslam is not running for the Senate, nor will his name be listed on the ballot. I am just curious as to how Haslam has affected the race prediction on this site, and I think a candidate that actually warrants more consideration is Manny Sethi. I’m just offering a suggestion here, and I would appreciate your consideration. Thanks!

Hello Mr. Awesome (going with Mr. since you are a Count), The predictions are based on user picks. The person who picked Haslam made that prediction in 2018. Some people have reasons for waiting to change their pick, but you are correct that predicting Haslam for this race will not turn out well.

I can believe I just realized this was a race this year an Alexander wasn't running. This seems to have flown under the radar.

Thank you IndyGeorgia for clarifying my confusion. In regard to the Tennessee Senate race, I see it as being really a two candidate race between Hagerty and Sethi. President Trump actually tweeted the announcement for Hagerty’s Senate bid and endorsed him, so he’s been posturing himself as the presumptive Senate nominee. You’re definitely right BrentinCO when you point out how quiet this race has been.

It's been a nasty race
