ANNOUNCEMENT OF DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP

The SPEAKER. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from
Philadelphia, Mr. Cohen, for the purpose of making an
announcement.

Mr. COHEN. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

Mr. Speaker, as the reelected chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, I have been instructed to announce for the information of the members of the House, the public, and the record that the gentleman from Greene County, Mr. DeWeese, has been reelected Democratic leader by our caucus; the gentleman from Beaver County, Mr. Veon, has been reelected Democratic whip. Furthermore, the gentleman from Luzerne County, Mr. Blaum, has been elected for the first time as caucus secretary; the gentleman from York County, Mr. Stetler, has been reelected Democratic policy chairman; the gentleman from Lackawanna County, Mr. Belardi, has been reelected caucus administrator; and the gentleman from Philadelphia, Mr. Evans, has been reelected Democratic
chairman of the House Appropriations Committee.

The SPEAKER. The Chair thanks the gentleman.
