• Two vacancies that now exist as a result of the 2007 death of Judge Toby Lynn Dickman and
the retirement of Judge William T. Nicholas, who reached the mandatory retirement age of 70.
• Two vacancies that will exist at the end of the year because of the mandatory retirement of
Judges S. Gerald Corso and Calvin S. “Pete” Drayer Jr.
• The vacancy that will exist at the end of the year with Judge Maurino J. Rossanese Jr., who
was elected to his first 10-year term in November 1989, opting not to seek retention.
