| Data Sources | Scranton City Council held a meeting to fill the vacancy caused by Robert McTiernan's resignation. The vote initially ended in a tie 2-2 vote. With Council members Mrs. Gatelli and Ms. Fanucci voting for Mr. McGoff, and Council members Janet Evans and Bill Courtright voting for Gary DiBileo. The City charter and code allow for the Mayor to cast a vote to break a tie in this instance. Mayor Chris Doherty voted for Robert McGoff. |
