Description |
Date of election speculative.
No new election was held in 1810, as Louisiana was in the process of becoming a new state. Congress did allow Allen B. Magruder and Elegius Fromentin to serve as "agents" on the floor of the U.S. House in the absence of an official delegate.
There was thus a vacancy in the office from 3/4/1811 to 4/30/1812 when the position of Delegate ended.
