| Description |
The Mexican Chamber of Deputies consists of 500 members, elected
for three-year terms. Of these, 300 are elected from single-member
constituencies. These are shown below, with the vote aggregated by
state / territory. The remaining 200 members are elected by
proportional representation.
Alianza por Mexico (ApM) / Alliance for Mexico (coalition of left-
wing groups, mainly the Partido de la Revolucion Democratica (PRD,
Party of the Democratic Revolution)
Partido Accion National (PAN) / National Action Party (free-market
liberals)
Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) / Institutional
Revolutionary Party (authoritarian socialist, in power since 1929)
