North Carolina' electoral votes were cast by: (A) W. Wayne Staton, (A) Annie B. Kennedy, (1) William M. Hodges, (2), J. Milton Read, (3) William E. Craft, (4) Marcie E. Jones, (5) H.W. Zimmerman Jr., (6) Mary C. Webster, (7) O. Richard Wright Jr., (8) Frank Liske, (9) Robert Doughton, (10) Robert B. Byrd, and (11) William G. Byers.
Byers at age 83 was the oldset Elector in the nation in 1976. Jones at 18 was the youngest Elector in the history of NC and the youngest in the nation in 1976.
